Resonance
Resonance is a conceptual project that proposes a new way of listening to music — calmer, more sensorial, more human. It merges the charm of analog with the intelligence of advanced technology, creating an immersive sound experience with minimal digital intrusion.
Inspired by the “slow tech” movement, this turntable emerges as a breath of fresh air — an invitation to pause, to listen with intention, and to embrace the aesthetic pleasure of the analog experience.
Context + Problem/Solution
In a world of noise, we crave pauses. Resonance emerges for those who seek music, not distractions — a conceptual turntable designed for presence, stillness, and deep listening.
It combines minimal design, analog tactility, and advanced technology in favor of a softer, more intentional user experience.
Slow Tech + Minimalism
Resonance is inspired by a growing movement — a return to analog, to slower rhythms, and to tactile moments.
The rising interest in vinyl, film photography, and physical media is more than nostalgia. It’s about reconnecting with what’s real and present.
This project translates that cultural shift into a product that offers:
- Less digital distraction
- Clean, calm design
- A sensory, tactile interaction
- Invisible, meaningful technology
No screens — one knob, full control.
Designed to adapt — horizontally, tilted, or hung like art.

Designed for Ritual
Resonance adapts to the rhythm of modern life with three flexible display modes:
- Placed flat on a table
- Slightly tilted with a built-in stand
- Mounted vertically as a piece of functional wall art
Its speaker modules follow the same logic — designed for tabletop, angled, or wall use.
Technology that feels human:
Glow, Don’t Scream: Knob display blends to the material, illuminating only the essentials and the system, can access your screens and room illumination to adjust the mood, if you want.
Sound, Unbound: Speakers fit anywhere—desk, shelf, or wall.
AI, Quietly Brilliant: Recognizes rare pressings and polishes audio imperfections.

The Unhurried Ritual
The user experience is rooted in softness. Every gesture is designed to feel intuitive and calm:
- Discreet, tactile controls
- Knob display that only appears when needed
- Seamless connection to music apps — no active screen required
Powered by AI, the system recognizes the record, enhances its sound in real-time, and adds a touch of modern clarity without losing the soul of vinyl.
How it feels to use Resonance:
Place the record. Hear the crackle. Watch the room soften into light.
The speakers? They’re there—unless you forget them (that’s the point).
Need more control? The app is optional. The experience is essential.

The Data Behind the Design
Resonance isn’t nostalgia—it’s necessity:
- Vinyl sales up 17% (RIAA, 2022);
- 72% of Gen Z want tech that respects their focus (Digital Wellness Report);
- Vinyl outsold CDs in 2023. We’re returning to what’s real;
- The ‘quiet tech’ movement is rising. This is its soundtrack.

Invisible Intelligence
Resonance is crafted from materials that elevate the sensory experience:
- Aluminum and high-performance acoustic fabrics.
- The design is modular and built to last — easy to disassemble, repair, and upgrade over time.
Built to last, designed to disappear:
Sustainable aluminum, repairable components.
Bluetooth 5.3 (for when you stream—no judgment).
Proximity sensors—LEDs wake only when you’re near.
A Love Letter to Listening
Resonance is more than a product.
It’s a design statement for a new kind of technology — one that listens. One that calms.
A space for presence, for music, for meaning.
Less noise. More resonance.
"This is for the ones who still believe in albums, not algorithms.
For the moments between songs.
For the quiet.
Resonance doesn’t just play music—it honors it."
